In this course, you'll be turning your business idea into an actionable business plan through identifying your potential customer base, channel network and unique value as well as through looking at your projected streams of revenues and expenses. You'll be creating your own lean business plan to facilitate creativity and you'll be provided with templates for branding and financial forecasting to assess the potential of your business.

Meet your Instructor
Suzie Abela
Suzie Abela is the Chief Passion Coach of TheModernMaria.Co, CEO of Isang Lakbay (ISLA) Corporation and General Manager of Sinag Hostel in Siargao. She finished her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration at the University of the Philippines-Diliman with honors (Cum Laude).
For seven years, she became: marketing manager, IT specialist, trainer, content writer and financial advisor. Her varied interests eventually turned into passion projects, and she began to dream of pursuing a business that will reflect her spirit and core values.
She moved to Siargao in 2018 to set up the corporation Isang Lakbay (ISLA) Corporation with her friends-turned-partners, and created Sinag Hostel. Today, Sinag is one of the top-rated hostels in Siargao, with over 120 authentic reviews on booking.com with an average rating of 9.4 to date, a really high score for its first year of operations. More importantly, it has been a home for more than 2,000 guests-turned-family, coming from different corners of the world and now creating jobs and source of income for locals, until the pandemic happened.
While the tourism industry is taking a step back from the usual operations due to the impact of COVID-19, TheModernMariaCo. was born to help out friends who got amazing business ideas, but don't know how or where to start. The company is now an online coaching and mentoring company which aims to empower passionate women to start turning their passion projects into a viable business through a passion-to-business program.
