Bunny Shy
With passion for both the science and arts, Karen "Bunny" Shy is a graduate of BS Marine Biology from the University of San Carlos in 2018 and Filmmaking from Film and Media Arts International Academy in 2019. She hopes to create compelling stories that will move people to care about the environment and one another. At present, she not only works as a street and handicraft artist, but also as a screenwriter, producer, director, video editor and voice actor.
She wrote and directed the short film, Inheritance. Two documentaries named Uncle Mikes Crib which focused on the advocacy of ocean clean up efforts and The Tribe of Outcasts which aims to change the stigma on by our Badjao brothers and sisters.
Her interests include pushing for environmental and mental health advocacies, arts and crafts artistry, singing and songwriting, biking and diving and hydroponics.
